Who Will Receive Rs 27,000 Under BISP 8171?

This double payment will be given only to those who did not receive the installment from April to June 2025. If you are registered in the BISP 8171 sponsorship scheme, and did not receive the money due to biometric or ID card verification, you can get Rs 27,000 in August. The condition is that your dynamic survey is completed and you have been re-verified before July 2025.

BISP Double Payment August 2025 – Amount and Payment Schedule

If you are eligible, you will be given the double amount as follows: Normally, the BISP installment is Rs 13,500 every three months. But for those who did not get the previous installment, the government will now give both installments together — Rs 13,500 from the previous one and Rs 13,500 from the new installment, for a total of Rs 27,000.

These payments will start from August 1, 2025 and will be given in phases in different districts. Those who have recently applied and have been confirmed, if they were also entitled to the previous installment, can also get Rs 27,000. If the previous installment is not entitled, newly confirmed families will get only Rs 13,500.

How to Check BISP 8171 Double Payment Status Using CNIC

You don’t need to go to an agent or broker to find out. You can easily check your BISP 8171 double payment status yourself with just your National Identity Card Number (CNIC). There are two easy ways to do this:

8171 SMS Service: Type your valid CNIC number and send it to 8171. Within a few moments, you will get a response saying that your payment has been approved, is in the verification process, or you need to take some other steps.

Online 8171 Web Portal: Go to the official BISP website, enter your CNIC number and security code there, then click “Submit”. Your status will be displayed immediately. This method saves you the hassle of visiting the office.

Latest Updates: Districts & Biometric Issues

NADRA, in collaboration with BISP, has updated its system to resolve fingerprint issues, as many women, especially widows and elderly women, were complaining that their old fingerprints were not matching. NADRA has advised such women to get their fingerprints updated again.

Payments will not start in all districts on the same day. Payments will be made in phases in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan to avoid rush. ATM withdrawal facility has also been resumed through HBL and Bank Alfalah.

From October 2025, the normal installment of the Benazir Kafalat Program, i.e. Rs. 13,500, will resume.Families who have their National Identity Card (CNIC) and Dynamic Survey Update will continue to receive this financial assistance without any interruption.
